Intelligent-SkinSense is a company that was founded by Katz, who is a long time beauty pioneer. She coined the term “day spa” in the 1980s at her first spa in New York City. Intelligent Skin Sense’s proprietary products are made of natural botanicals and scientific smart ingredients to help the skin combat signs of premature aging.
Katz explains why she decided to start Intelligent-SkinSense. She says, “The way it came about was that I saw there was a change in the industry simply because people just didn’t have the same amount of time. So my thought was to create a very simple product line that really got results, there was a lot of ease and simplicity with it and could bring the spa home to the end user so that if they couldn’t get to the spa because they’re time crunched, they can do this at home.”
